Woo Hoo, Rachel got her bedroom set!!! We found it at the Fair, in one of the commercial displays. Here are some photos -- oak queen-size sleigh bed with bedside table and large dresser with mirror at a steal!!! She really likes it, and it should arrive in about two weeks. All we need now is a mattress set.
On Saturday, we went to the Fair -- Stephen and me, Rachel and Eugene (Ross). Stephen and I went to EAT and to work at the Baby Comfort Station.
This is a booth sponsored by the GA Baptist Association and manned by churches -- it offers a private, clean place to change and feed babies while at the fair. Lots of parents LOVE it!!! When people come to the Baby Comfort Station, we greet them and give out gospel tracts. We also have little goodie bags for kids and bouncy balls, which gets people's attention.
Later in the evening, there were fireworks -- everyone stood around watching. It was LOUD, but really good.
Well, Dodge County football is going strong this year at 5 wins, 1 loss, but the Flag Line is super cool, too. Rachel is having fun performing at half time (except on windy days!). This is her Flag photo ... isn't she pretty? Go Rachel Go!
